Metabolex is working to discover and develop best-in-class treatments for type 2 diabetes and related metabolic diseases. We have two novel insulin sensitizers, MBX-102 which is in Phase 2 development, and MBX-2044, which has completed a Phase 2a trial. MBX-8025 is a potential first-in-class treatment for dyslipidemia that has completed a Phase 2 proof of concept trial. MBX-2982, a compound that targets the G-protein coupled receptor-119 (GPR-119) to stimulate glucose-sensitive insulin secretion, is in Phase 2 clinical development.
